Dear Jerry:

As I told you last time, I have now reached a period of time at Lindesberg parish where the clerical survey records are much better, and thus much more helpful. Therefore, I have been continuing a thorough search of the clerical surveys, which are extremely useful and allow me to make greater progress in the parish registers themselves.

As always, you will first find an updated set of pedigree charts.

The first family group sheet is from pedigree chart #2 for the family of Joran Ersson and Anna Joensdotter (family #7) who are your 7th great grandparents. I have now located the marriage and much of the family of Anders Joransson. He was married at Lindesberg in 1750 to Kiersten Hansdotter (family #711). It appears that they had at least six children. Joran Ersson died in 1749 and in 1751 his widow, Anna Joensdotter, was remarried to Anders Ersson (family #12).

Next we go to pedigree chart #3 to the family of Anders Larsson and his wife Karin Andersdotter (family #9). There is some new information on this sheet. They are also your 7th great grandparents. Anders Larsson's mother was Kirsten Hansdotter. You are descended through her first husband, Lars Johansson (family #46 which you have). She was married secondly in 1720 to Per Larsson (family #583) They had three children. Their son, Hans Parsson, was married in 1747 to Maria Ersdotter (fam #714) with whom he had at least five children.

Also on pedigree chart #3 is the family of Hans Nilsson and Chirsten Nilsdotter (family #89 which you have). Their son, Erich Hansson, was married in 1744 to the widow Brita Andersdotter (family #180). It appears that they only had one child.

On pedigree chart #6 you will find the family of Erich Nilsson and Margreta Pehrsdotter (family #218 which you have). They resided at Hidinge in Lindesberg parish. Their daughter, Anna Ersdotter, was married in 1740 to Olof Olsson (family #669). They resided at Munkhyttan in Lindesberg where they had at least 11 children.

At the top of pedigree chart #7 you will find Anders Hansson. He is your 8th great grandfather. Anders Andersson was his son from his marriage to Maria Andersdotter (family #291 which you have). Anders Andersson was married twice, first to Kerstin Hansdotter (family #293) and then to Lisa Andersdotter (family #716).

Pehr Hansson and his wife Elisabeth Olsdotter (family #186 which you have) are shown at the bottom of pedigree chart #7. Enclosed are updated sheets on two of their children:

Brita Pehrsdotter was married secondly to Johan Berggren with whom she had two children (family #686). As you will recall, she was married previously to Olof Lindqvist.

Elizabeth or Lisken Pehrsdotter was married in 1740 to Hans Larsson (family #667). They resided at Wasselhyttan where they had at least four children.

Erich Andersson and his wife Ingeborg Bengtsdotter are shown on pedigree chart #10 (family #443 which you have). They were from Korberg in Ramsberg parish, but their daughter, Ingeborg Ersdotter, moved to Lindesberg after her marriage to Jons Erichsson (family #450). Perhaps you will recall that I previously told you that I had apparently missed their children, in as much as they resided at Biorneboda, rather than Bjorcka, which was listed at their marriage. However, I have now came across two of their children. I am sure there must be others, and I will have to go back and recheck.

But to return to how I located these two, one of them, Anna Jonsdotter, was married in 1740 at Lindesberg to another of your relatives, Oluf Pedersson (family #668). Anna's sister, Elisabeth or Lisa resided with this family for some time. When I saw their residence, I felt sure they must be your relatives, and this proved to be correct.

We now go to pedigree chart #18 to the family of Elias Joensson. He was your 10th great grandfather and was married twice. One child from his marriage to Gertrud Andersdotter (family #400 which you have) Cherstin Eliasdotter was married in 1695 to Carl Carlsson (family #243). They were the parents of eleven children.

The oldest of these, Anna Carlsdotter, was married about 1730 to Lars Ersson (family #651). They resided at Wasselhyttan where they had two daughters.

Another child, Fredrich Carlsson, was apparently married before 1735 to Kiersten Andersdotter (family #94). They reportedly resided at Nederhyttan, which I believe may be in Ramsberg. Further research is needed to locate their children.

The remaining family group sheets are for various other cousins. The relationship is listed on each sheet.

That covers the research which I have done for you this period. Please be sure to let me know if you have any questions. I hope that you and your family are well and I look forward to hearing from you again soon so I can continue your research.

Sincerely yours,
Linda K. Larson
