Dear Jerry:
I have completed your research hours for this period. All of my research this period has been at Lindesberg parish, although I also found some information which applies to your ancestors from Ramsberg. In all, I have found a good deal of additional information on several of your direct line families, which I will detail as this report proceeds.
As always, you will first find an updated set of pedigree charts. The first family group sheet is from pedigree chart #2, for the family of Eric Ersson and Catarina Larsdotter (family #47). You will note that I have finally discovered the surname of Eric Ersson's mother. Although they were from Ramsberg, I located her surname in the Lindesberg records. Eric's parents were Erich Andersson and Ingeborg Bengtsdotter (family #443) from Korberg in Ramsberg. The mother's full name is given in the marriage record for the second marriage of her son, Peder Ersson, who was married in 1688 at Lindesberg.
For informational purposes and to update your sheets, I have printed updated family group sheets for each of the married children to Eric Andersson and Ingeborg Bengtsdotter. The new sheets are for the second marriage of Peder Ersson, who was married in 1688 at Lindesberg to the widow Anna Hansdotter (family #524) and also the second marriage of their last child, Karin Ersdotter, who was married in 1695 at Lindesberg to Jacob Ersson (family #535). The name of her first husband is not known, but he was apparently also from Lindesberg parish.
Next we go to pedigree chart #3 where you will find updated family group sheets for Nils Ersson and Ingebor Hansdotter (family #181) and also for Nils Persson and Brita Nilsdotter (family #182). These are both your 8th great grandparents.
Next we go to pedigree chart #7 to the family of Johan or Jan Nilsson and Ellicka Parsdotter (family #65). I believe that I have discovered the names of the parents of Johan Nilsson. This is continued on pedigree chart #50. As nearly as I can tell, it appears that he was the son of Nils Mattson and Karin Olofsdotter (family #490) from Snuggan in Lindesberg. I did locate the birth of another child to this couple, Nils Nilsson, who was married in 1702 to another of your relatives, Ingeborg Andersdotter from Ramsberg (family #470).
I was also able to extend this line one generation further. Nils Mattsson was apparently the son of Matts Nilsson and his wife Kerstin Andersdotter (family #94). shown on pedigree chart #50. Further research is needed on this lineage.
Erich Nilsson and Karin Persdotter are your 9th great grandparents, as given on pedigree chart #12. This is family #75 which you already have. Enclosed are sheets on two of their children. Anna Ersdotter was married in 1698 to Peder Hansson (family #431) and Kerstin Ersdotter was married in 1695 to Johan Hindersson (family #429).
Peder Eliasson and Anna Hansdotter are shown on pedigree chart #13 (family #76) and are your 9th great grandparents. They were from Forbohyttan in Lindesberg. Also enclosed are updated family group sheets on two of their children. Their oldest daughter, Margreta or Karin, was married in 1692 to Lars Ersson (fam #283). She died in 1699 and her husband was remarried in 1700 to Margeta Nilsdotter (family #543). Another daughter, Kerstin Persdotter, was married in 1692 to Nils Ersson (family #284). Nils Ersson was a brother to Lars Ersson, so sisters were married, on the same day, to brothers.
Next we go to pedigree chart #18. Here you will find the family of Johan or Jan Eliasson and Marit Larsdotter (family #86) who were from Wasselhyttan in Lindesberg. They are your 9th great grandparents. Johan Eliasson was the son of Elias Joensson and his first wife Kerstin (family #184). I have located another child in this family. Maria Eliasdotter was married, apparently for the second time, to Per Larsson (family #539). There is also an updated sheet for a daughter from Elias Joensson's second marriage: Cherstin Eliasdotter was married in 1695 to Carl Carlsson (family #243).
On pedigree chart #24 is your ancestor Erich of Granshyttan. His full name is not known, but he was the father to Per or Peder Ersson who was married to Ingrid Andersdotter, your 9th great grandparents (family #193 which you have). One of their daughters, Margaretha Persdotter, was married in 1682 to Lars Larsson (family #276). I have also found some additional information on Nils Ersson, brother to Per Ersson. He was married in 1661 to Carin Nilsdotter (family #401).
Jakob Persson is shown on pedigree chart #25. He was from Armanboda in Lindesberg. There are updated sheets on two of his children as follows:
Olof Jakobsson was married in 1661 to Anna Eriksdotter. They had at least one child (family #261).
Cherstin Jakobsdotter was married in 1678 to Anders Persson (family #270). I have found an additional child in this family. Peder Andersson was married in 1701, but the marriage record does not give the name of his wife (family #545). If I am able to locate some children, her name should be given in those records, and I will report on this later.
Your 9th great grandparents, Erik Davidsson and Karin Joensdotter (family #367) are shown on pedigree chart #27. There is some updated information on this sheet, namely the burial date of the wife, and additional information on child #4, Erich Ersson. He was married in 1688 to Bryta Bengtsdotter (family #525) but they apparently did not have any children. Lars Davidsson was the brother to Erik Davidsson. One of his children, Ingebor Larsdotter, was married in 1691 to Jon Larsson (family #427).
Hans Anderssosn and Elisabet Andersdotter (family #286) are shown on pedigree chart #48. They were from Hammaren, Andershammer in Lindesberg. I have found marriages on most of the children in this family. There are updated sheets on several of these:
Carin Hansdotter was married in 1685 to Lars Larsson of Gusselby (family #517). I have found record of six children, but there may be others.
Kirsten Hansdotter was married in 1687 to Anders Ifvarsson of Gusselby (family #439). So far I have found record of five children.
Peder Hansson was married in 1698 to Margareta Ohlsdotter and they resided at Hammaren (family #290). I have found one additional child in this family.
Anna Hansdotter was married in 1701 to Par Ersson (fam #549). I have not yet located any children.
Hans Andersson was the son of Anders Andersson and Karin of Hammaren (family #296 which you have). Two of his other children were married as follows:
Anders Andersson was married in 1662 to Carin Larsdotter and they resided at Hammaren (family #403). I found record of six children, but there are likely others born right after their marriage, when the records are missing.
Karin Andersdotter was married in 1662 to Anders Andersson of Wasselhyttan (family #402).
Lars Christophersson and Karin Andersdotter are your 9th great grandparents (family #306) and they are shown on pedigree chart #49. They had at least four children, likely others. Lars Christophersson was married secondly to Margrete Hansdotter (family #287). Margrete is also your relative. I found one additional child in the second marriage.
Johan Larsson was the oldest child of Lars Christophersson and his first wife. Johan was also married twice. His first wife was Anna Hemmingsdotter (family #424) and his second wife was Karin Persdotter (family #541).
The remaining two family group sheets are for other cousins. The relationship is given on each.
That covers the research which I have done for you this time. Please let me know after you receive the package and if you have any questions. .
Sincerely yours,
Linda K. Larson
