Dear Jerry:

I have not received any reply to my very recent e-mail, so I don't know whether you received it or not. In any case, I have now completed your research hours. I have spent most of my time this period working at Lindesberg parish. The records there are in much better condition and give more details than the Ljusnarsberg records. Enclosed you will first find an updated set of pedigree charts.

As I have reviewed some of my notes I have noted some information which I decided should be included on your sheets. On pedigree chart #1, the father of Anders Andersson, Anders Persson, also used the additional surname of Sor. Therefore, I have printed new copies of the sheets concerned. The first sheet is that of Anders Andersson and Christina Lovisa Aronsdotter (family #1) your 3rd great grandparents.

Next is the family of Anders Persson Sor and Anna Jansdotter (family #2) the parents of Anders Andersson. On this family I have located the marriage and family of the first daughter. Maria Charlotta Andersdotter was married in 1856 to Lars Eric Hedgren (family #346). It appears that they had only the one child, Anna Sofia, born shortly after her parents' marriage.

On the next generation back, Anders Persson Sor was born in 1805 at Ingelshyttan in Lindesberg, the son of Petter or Per Persson and Christina Andersdotter (family #3). Here again, this is an updated sheet to show the additional surname of Sor.

Still on pedigree chart #1 is the family of Aron Svensson and Stina Lisa Jansdotter (family #15). The resided at Snuggan in Lindesberg and are your 4th great grandparents. Their first child, Carolina Aronsdotter, was married in 1854 to Carl Magnus Ljunggren (family #59). Clerical survey records at Lindesberg parish show only the one child, born in 1863 at Granshyttan. However, it is possible that they had other children at Nasby parish, where they resided shortly after being married. I have not yet checked there for other children.

Stina Lisa Jansdotter was the daughter of Jan Pehrsson and Elisabeth Jansdotter (family #17) who are your 5th great grandparents. I still have not been able to locate the marriage of this couple, or the birth/chr of the husband. However, I did locate the birth/chr of child #3, Anna. She was married in 1824 to the widower Hans Larsson (family #37) with whom she had one child.

Another daughter to Jan Pehrsson and Elisabeth Jansdotter, Catharina Jansdotter, was married in 1832 to Jonas Carlsson Lind (family #79) in 1832. They were the parents of seven children, two of whom died young.

Next we go to pedigree chart #2 to the family of Joran or Gioran Ersson and Anna Joensdotter (family #7). They are your 7th great grandparents. They had a large family, all born at Skogstorp in Ramsberg parish. The family later moved to Ingelshyttan in Lindesberg. I have verified and/or located further information on the marriages of several of these children:

Erich Joransson was married in 1741 to the widow Anna Hansdotter (family #13). It does not appear that they had any children. The name of Anna's first husband has not been discovered.

Johan or Jan Joransson was married in 1750 to Maria Hansdotter (family #11) with whom he had four children. One of these died young. Johan Joransson died in 1765 and his widow was then married to Eric Pehrsson (family #357). They had one child who also died young.

Anna Joransdotter was married in 1753 to Petter or Pehr Pehrsson of Danshyttan (family #14). Clerical survey records show seven children. I was not able to locate the second Anna, supposedly born in 1766.

On pedigree chart #3 you will find the family of Anders Larsson and Karin or Catharina Andersdotter (family #9). This couple originally resided at Tappan in Ljusnarsberg parish, but later moved to Wasselhyttan in Lindesberg, which was where the husband was born.

Karin Andersdotter was from Tappan in Ljusnarsberg parish, the daughter of Anders Olsson and Karin Hindersdotter (family #49). They are your 8th great grandparents. It appears that their son, Hindrich Andersson, was married before 1739 to Elisabet Persdotter (family #318). Witnesses indicate that they likely had four children, but I have not yet verified this.

Karin Hindersdotter is continued on pedigree chart #15. She was born in 1672 at Ljusnarsberg, the daughter of Hindrich Andersson and Bryta Ersdotter (family #319). They were married in 1670. I have revised this sheet to show only the two daughters, as it now appears that they may have been the only children. Further research is needed to clarify. You will note that the husband has the same name as the Hindrich Andersson listed above, and some of these individuals may have been confused. As stated, further research is needed.

If you will return to pedigree chart #3 you will find the family of Hans Nilsson and Chirsten Nilsdotter (family #89). They are your 7th great grandparents. One of their daughters was Kierstin Hansdotter. She was married in 1750 to Anders Joransson of Ingelshyttan in Lindesberg (family #179). I have found record of several additional children in this family.

Erich Danielsson Dunder is shown on pedigree chart #5. His brother was Daniel Danielsson Dunder. The name of his first wife is not known, but it appears that he had at least three children from this marriage (family #328). I have now determined that the first child, Annika Danielsdotter, was married in 1687 to Johan Andersson (family #173). This replaces the previous family group sheet #148, which should be thrown away. You will note that Johan Andersson is also your relative. His father was Anders Andersson of Kiallkarn in Ljusnarsberg (family #110) your 9th great grandfather shown on pedigree chart #53.

Par Andersson and Kerstin Jansdotter (family #24) are your 7th great grandparents. They are shown on pedigree chart #7. They were married in 1729 and were the parents of nine children, all born at Fornaboda in Lindesberg. Their oldest child, Anna Pehrsdotter, was married in 1768 to the widower Jonas Ersson (family #348) with whom she had two children. Jonas Ersson was previously married to another woman, a widow, who was also named Anna Pehrsdotter (family #350). They were the parents of four children.

Par Andersson above was the son of Anders Hansson and his first wife, Anna Larsdotter, as shown on pedigree chart #7. His second wife was Maria Andersdotter (family #291) with whom he had one child. This son, Anders Andersson, was married in 1739 to the widow Kerstin Hansdotter (family #293). They resided at Marshyttan in Lindesberg. Kerstin Hansdotter was previously married to Olof Jonsson (family #292). There may be other children from this marriage.

I was able to locate a death/bur record on Johan or Jan Eliasson, your 9th great grandfather from Wasselhyttan in Lindesberg. He was married to Marit Larsdotter with whom he had eight children (family #86). Johan Eliasson was buried 3 Nov 1738 at Lindesberg and the age given slightly revises his approximate birth date. This information is also shown on the family group sheet on his parents, Elias Joensson and Gertrud Andersdotter (family #184).

There is one final family group sheet on a cousin, Anders Svensson and his wife Anna Christina Andersdotter (family #62). This is an updated copy of a sheet which I sent to you previously.

That covers the research which I have done for you this period. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best wishes for Thanksgiving and the upcoming Holiday Season.

Sincerely yours,

(Sister) Linda K. Larson
