Thanks to all who keep contributing to the work and funding the genealogist. We have received another short research report from Trudy Schenk. We have also funded another $1000.00 research effort to keep her searching... money sent this week, 25 November 2000. We thank all who keep us going.

The Anderson research in Sweden is proceeding well and much is being learned regarding the family of Amelia Augusta Anderson Mower, wife of John Lisbon Mower.

I am still receiving correspondence on a weekly basis from the material we posted on our internet site: www.mowerfamily.org. I have also posted information on ancestry.com and I get a lot of information from connected relatives from that site as well as familysearch.org where we have our information also posted. In short, things are progressing and your help is most appreciated. Here is the short report from Trudy:

Dear Jerry,

I never cease to look for those Brills/Briehl/Bruehls. Wherever the opportunity comes for a possibility to find them I spend the time to do so, without telling you about it. I don't have much faith in German researchers. Unless you can give them the correct place to search, they seem to loose interest . Also they don't seem to understand the PA emigrant problem.

Last week I found the Langsdorffs who appear with Martin Brill in Springfield townships communion lists. It was near Giessen several years ago I searched for them and could not find them. I feel I will find those Brills.

I wrote already to one of the Brill individuals who searches the name but never received an answer. Three weeks ago I did a seminar in Leesburg Virginia on 18th century emigration. There are still so many people trying to find their early PA ancestors. The PA specialists send their clients to me with their problems. and as you know I have been successful on many lines.

The lutheran church of the Kassel district have been filming the church records of the area and going there may be the answer. I keep on trying. At this point I have worked up to ca $150.00.
