Dear Jerry: I have another group ready for you. I still have time to finish the Goetzis films. The deaths are usually given in the chr. entries, but I checked the actual death entries anyway to the year 1880. This is where the deaths end only the index goes to 1903.
Now to the problem of Johannes GISINGER b. 6 May 1772 that you mentioned. He obviously was only married to one wife and I don't know which birth date belongs to which Johannes Gisinger. The ages don't really help because neither one seems to be accurate.
I have learned that Altach has a parish beginning in 1821. This accounts for the few children on several families. The films have to be ordered from the vault or I would have checked them. So it will have to wait until I come back.
Having the Altach films will also help with the above problem of Johannes GISINGER. Hopefully the deaths will give correct birthdates. The same with Anton GIESINGER md. to Ursula ZIPPER.
The death date of child #3 of J. GISINGER and Katharina ELLENSOHN, I'm sure now should belong to child #2. Joseph c. 17 Jan 1805 d. 19 Nov 1809. I want to get this info in the mail so forgive the handwritten report. I still have $750.00 to work with. Sincerely, Trudy

I recently received an unexpected package from Duke CLARK of Maryland. Out of the clear-blue he sent me 136 documented pages of of descendants of the MEARKLE line in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. For those of you tracing the descendants of John AMICK, this will be of interest to you. Included in this material are many dozens of descendants of John AMICK and some of his descendants married into the MEARKLE and SHAFFER lines.
I continue to receive (almost daily) letters from individuals who tie into our MOWER line. We now have about 25,000 individuals linked on our Master File to Michael MAURER and Martin BRILL (whose daughter-in-law was a daughter of Michael MAURER). Our Ancestral File contributions have helped many other researchers across the country as they have researched their ancestors and tied into our line. They in turn have given us clues as to other descendants of Michael MAURER. We are seeing great progress as we put this great genealogy together. I am really looking forward to the plunge into the origins of Michael MAURER and feel confident we can make progress on that line.
