Dear Jerry:
This past research period I have worked in Ljusnarsberg parish in Orebro on your many ancestors and relatives from this parish. I did some work in the parish registers, but also spent a good amount of time going through the earliest clerical survey records. I have not previously done this, partly because these early survey records give virtually no dates. However, in spite of this, I have been able to gather a lot of information from these records, which still needs to be verified in the parish registers. Also, there are several additional years of similiar survey records, which will take some time to finish.
Enclosed you will first find a complete new set of pedigree charts. The first family group sheet is from pedigree chart #3 for the family of Anders Larsson and Karin Andersdotter, who are your 7th great grandparents (family #9).
The wife, Karen Andersdotter, was from Tappen in Ljusnarsberg. Her parents were Anders Olsson and Karin Hindersdotter (fam #49). I have now located some additional information here. Anders Olsson and Karin Hindersdotter were married in 1692 and they had at least four children. It appears that your ancestor was the youngest of these. You will note that she was named after her mother and an older sister, also named Karin. It is likely that the older sister died young, but I have not yet verified this.
I have not yet determined the full name of the father of Karin Hindersdotter (Henrichsdotter). However, the clerical survey records show that Hindrich was married to Bryta (family #319) and witnesses indicate that they had at least three children. The father apparently died before the clerical survey records begin in 1708. Clerical survey records show that Karin's brother was Anders Hindersson, and that he was married to Elisabet and had at least four children (family #318). As I said, these early clerical survey records give virtually no dates.
On pedigree chart #4 you will find the family of Eric Jansson and Anna Hindersdotter (family #43) who are your 7th great grandparents. They were married in 1730 at Ljusnarsberg and were the parents of six children. Your ancestor is their daughter Anna.
The mother, Anna Hindersdotter, was born in 1707 at Stockbacken in Ljusnarsberg, the daughter of Hindric Danielsson and wife Bryta Hindrichsdotter (family #53). They are your 8th great grandparents. They were married in 1706 and were the parents of seven children. Several of the other children to Hindrich Danielsson and Bryta Hindrichsdotter were married as follows:
(1) Hindrich Hindrichsson was married about 1734 to Ingrid Mattsdotter (family #126) and had nine children born at Stockbacken.
(2) Karin Hindrichsdotter was married before 1739 to Lars Mattsson of Finshyttan (family #320).
(3) Johan Hindrichsson was married before 1741 to Margareta Magnusdotter (family #321).
The early clerical survey records show that the father, Hindric Danielsson, was the son of Daniel Clemitsson (family #159). It appears that he had at least one other son, Johan Danielsson.
Hindric Danielsson's wife was Bryta Hindrichsdotter. She was born in 1677, the daughter of Hindrich Grilsson of Norsjon in Ljusnarsberg (family #160).
Ole Mattsson and Inger Andersdotter (family #90) are shown on pedigree chart #5. You will note that their son, Matts Olsson, is also shown on pedigree chart #4, and that you are thus related in two ways to Ole Mattsson and Inger Andersdotter. You are descended through two of the children to Matts Olsson, his son Olof Mattsson, and his daughter, Lisbet Mattsdotter.
Based on the early clerical survey records, I believe that I have now identified the parents of Inger Andersdotter, wife of Ole Mattsson above. She was from Pottacker in Ljusnarsberg and it appears that her parents were Anders Mattsson and Margeta Mattsdotter (family #195). This needs to be verified from the parish registers, but appears correct.
Early clerical survey records also appear to show a brother to Inger, Anders Andersson, who was married to Lisbeth (family #333) and had at least two children.
We now go to pedigree chart #6 where we find the family of Sven Larsson and Margareta Mattsdotter (family #30). They are your 7th great grandparents. They were married in 1704 and were the parents of four children, born at Gratorp in Ljusnarsberg.
On the next generation back, Sven Larsson, was born about 1683, the son of Lars Svensson (family #92). The name of the mother has not been determined. However, it appears that there were at least four children.
Sven Larsson's wife was Margareta Mattsdotter. She was the daughter of Matts Mattsson and wife Kerstin (family #135) of Kialberken in Ljusnarsberg. It appears that they had at least six children. Two of the other children were married as follows:
(1) Bryta Mattsdotter was married in 1695 to Per Hindersson (family #149).
(2) Matts Mattsson was married in 1704 to Susanna Persdotter (family #136).
Also on pedigree chart #6 is the family of Lars Joransson and Elisabeth Hansdotter (family #31). They were married in 1710 and were the parents of eight children. They resided at Myggsion in Ljusnarsberg. Lars Joransson was born about 1675, the son of Joran Grilsson (family #133).
Lars Joransson's wife was Elisabeth Hansdotter of Valltorp. The full name of her father has not been determined, but the earliest clerical survey records show that his widow was Anna (fam #142). It appears that this couple had at least three children. In addition to Elisabeth, these were:
(1) Matts Hansson who was married in 1713 to Anna Johansdotter (family #143).
(2) Hindrich Hansson who was married twice, first to Elisabeth (family #331) and then to Kerstin (family #332).
The next family is shown on pedigree chart #9. Pahl Ersson and Malin Mattsdotter (family #97) are your 8th great grandparents. Malin was a widow at the time of her marriage to Pahl Ersson. The name of her first husband has not yet been determined, but clerical survey records appear to show that she had at least one child, Anders, from this first marriage (family #119).
Also on pedigree chart #9 is the family of Hendrich Andersson and Bryta Zachrisdotter (family #102). They were married in 1703 and it appears that they had at least six children. They were from Kiallkarn in Ljusnarsberg. One of their children was Zachris Hendrichsson who was married in 1745 to Margareta Jansdotter from Ramsberg (family #107).
Next we skip forward to pedigree chart #23 where you will find Johan, the father of Kerstin Johansdotter of Stensarf or Stensarfvet. Kerstin had at least one brother, Erich Johansson, who was married in 1705 to Margeta Bengtsdotter (family #141).
Daniel Pedersson Dunder is your 9th great grandfather and is shown on pedigree chart #27. Your ancestor is his son, Eric Danielsson Dunder. Eric's older brother was Daniel Danielsson Dunder. It appears that he was married twice. The name of his first wife is not known (family #328) but he had at least two daughters from this marriage. Daniel Danielsson Dunder was married secondly to Agneta Olsdotter (family #147) with whom he apparently had at least five children. Some of the children from these two marriages were married as follows:
(1) Annika Danielsdotter was married in 1687 to Johan Andersson (family #148).
(2) Kierstin Danielsdotter was married in 1691 to Nils Erlandsson of Stellberg (family #144).
(3) Erich Danielsson was married before 1712 to Karin (fam #322).
(4) Olof Danielsson was married to Bryta (family #325).
Finally we go to pedigree chart #53 where we find Anders Andersson, your 9th great grandfather. One of his children was Johan Andersson who was married to Anna (family #173). Their son Pehr Johansson was married twice, first to Maria (family #326) and then to Karin (family #327).
Another child to Anders Andersson was Elisabet Andersdotter. She was married in 1692 to Matts Hindersson (family #145). They resided at Ljusnaren in Ljusnarsberg parish whre they had at least four children.
That covers the research which I have done for you this period. I look forward to hearing from you soon and continuing with your research. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Best wishes.
